Life has changed. I’m a former CEO, but am still a father, husband, son, brother, and member of the community, and boy has life forever changed.

This feels like an asteroid impact event on a global scale. I’m sorting through the information as it comes through and trying to make sense of it all. What does it mean for me in each of the roles I’ve played or am currently playing in my life? It’s keeping me up at night, and as I think about, analyze and try to figure this all out, I decided to document it, as much for myself as it is for others. If you end up here, I hope we can share perspectives and learn from each other.

I’m interested because I’ve lead large teams of people. I’ve led a public company. I’ve led an FDA regulated medical device business and worked in Healthcare for 10 years. Its all near and dear to my heart and my background. There are real implication and need for leadership, calm, analysis and action. Along the way, I’m also finding ways to best spend time with my kids and my wife. Its important to find ways to digitally stay connected to our friends and distant family. Most importantly its critical for us all to find purpose and a way to make an impact.

I DON’T care about the politics. This is not a democrat, republican, Chinese, or LGBTQ event. This is a human event. We’re all going to witness profound changes and I hope we can do it together. I DO care about how to help each other out through the changes and that has me curious enough to write about it and attempt to cut through noise and malicious disinformation.
