Losing it is not an option

Times like these are when we as leaders must step up and act. Things are happening that were unforeseen. Outside factors have changed the very nature of the game. The inputs are changing every day and the outcomes are uncertain. Our employees and customers are unsure and the information we're receiving is unclear. Panic. Fear. Uncertainty. What's our role?

We are stewards. Yes, we are responsible. We are responsible for knowing the facts. For accumulating the facts. For sifting through the noise. That's what leaders do. We sift through the noise and find the path and we hold to it steadfastly. We do it every day in our business lives right? I hope that in these times of uncertainty that everyone who leads takes the responsibility and the privilege of leadership seriously. Take care of your teams. Take care of your customers. Take care of your community. Make your decisions swiftly and decisively. Be aware that your actions in this time will shape who you are to those around you and to those that you serve.
